Ella Smith- Occupational Therapist‍ ‍

Ella is a passionate Occupational Therapist dedicated to helping children discover their strengths, build confidence, and achieve meaningful goals through fun and engaging play based therapy.

She provides client focused therapy that celebrates each child’s individuality, tailoring sessions to their interests, abilities, and aspirations. With experience supporting children with developmental, sensory, emotional, and physical needs, Ella works alongside children and families to create positive therapy experiences that support participation at home, school, and in the community.

Passionate about movement and outdoors, Ella believes children thrive when therapy is meaningful, motivating, and enjoyable. Ella incorporates a range of therapeutic approaches, including hydrotherapy and animal-assisted therapy when suitable, to support children in achieving their individual goals. She has undertaken specialised training in hydrotherapy, sensory processing needs, and the benefits of animal-assisted therapy.

Ella is also fortunate to work alongside her trained therapy dog, Suzie Q, whose gentle and friendly nature helps foster connection, confidence, and engagement during sessions.

Outside of work, Ella enjoys Pilates, spending time at the beach, exploring the outdoors, and creating memories with her partner and Suzie Q.
