The cases that don’t come with a manual deserve a room of people who get it.

Complex.Lab is group supervision for paediatric OTs working with children with the most complex disability presentations.
Small cohort. Real case discussion. Led by Kacey.

WHAT IS COMPLEX.LAB

Some paediatric OT caseloads go deep.

Children with Cerebral Palsy GMFCS 3–5. Kids with ASD level 3. Rare genetic conditions. Childhood dementia. Muscular dystrophies and other progressive presentations. Children in special schools carrying complex, layered needs across every domain.

This work is meaningful. It’s also technically demanding, emotionally weighty, and often done without a peer group who truly understands what you’re navigating.

Complex.Lab exists for that gap.

It’s a small, consistent cohort of paediatric OTs working in the complex disability space.
Four-weekly, 90 minutes, online. Kacey leads the group — she brings her own deep clinical experience in this space, and creates the conditions for the kind of peer learning that actually sticks.

You bring your cases. The group helps you think.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION

Each Complex.Lab session is 90 minutes.
No formal presentations. No slides. Just clinical work.

Typically a session includes:

  • Case-based discussion — bring what you’re sitting with, however formed or unformed

  • Peer input and collective clinical reasoning

  • Kacey’s facilitation and direct clinical perspective where relevant

  • Space to reflect on what you’re learning across your caseload, not just case by case

  • The group is small by design. Everyone contributes. Everyone benefits.

Complex.Lab is right for you if:

  • You work with children with significant physical, intellectual, or neurological disability

  • Your caseload includes children in special schools or high-needs early intervention

    settings

  • You want a consistent peer group, not just a one-off webinar

  • You’re looking for low-cost, high-quality monthly clinical support

  • You want to build genuine expertise in complex disability practice over tim

It’s purely paediatric OT — no mixed professions, no generic content.

WHO IS THIS FOR

MEET KACEY

Kacey Watson is our senior OT at Kids + Co.Lab and the clinician who leads Complex.Lab.

She works primarily with children with complex disability and brings particular depth in

postural management, AT prescription, and the practical realities of supporting families

navigating high-complexity presentations under the NDIS.

She facilitates the way she supervises — practically, honestly, without performance.
